Description
The first formula of Toothpaste Couto was registered in the city of Porto on June 13, 1932, with the designation of Pasta Medicinal Couto, by the hand of Alberto Ferreira do Couto, pharmacy manager.
With the help of a stomatologist friend, he created this toothpaste in order to limit the growing phenomenon of gum retraction. The quality of the product has determined such a success that, even today, for the older Portuguese people, to say “Paste Couto” is the same as toothpaste. The small production is still in the hands of the last heir of the Couto family. Toothpaste Couto is indicated in daily mouth and tooth hygiene. Thanks to its properties, it helps to prevent caries and gum disorders.
How to use:
Place a lot of toothpaste on the bristles of a good quality toothbrush, rub your teeth and gums well, penetrating the Toothpaste Couto into the interdental space, leave in contact with the gums for a few minutes, before rinsing. Brush your teeth twice a day (morning and evening) and whenever possible after meals for at least 2 minutes.
In severe cases, when the state of the gums does not tolerate the use of a brush, Toothpaste Couto can be applied with the tip of the index finger, gently massing it and leaving it in contact with the gums for a few minutes.

Ingredients:
Aqua, Hydroxyapatite, Glycerin, Potassium Chlorate, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Sodium C12-18 Alkyl Sulfate, Mentha Piperita, Menthol, Paraffinum Líquidum, Anethol, Sodium Saccharin, Thymol, Eugenol and Limonene.
